In cooperation with Kaesler Nutrition GmbH (LAN) the students had learned the basic concepts of political and business economics and marketing in a series of teaching modules. At the end of the school year this knowledge was brought together in a practical term paper using the market launch of product ideas as an example, and a summary of the term paper presented at the event. The managing director of UVC, Markus Heinig, emphasized in his welcoming speech that the ability to explain complex facts in an understandable and convincing manner is becoming more and more a core competence in times of SMS and smart phones. The cooperation between schools and local companies also creates multipliers that can make Cuxhaven known and interesting as an attractive perspective for skilled employees from within and from outside the region. Project manager, Dr. Christian Plath (LAN), also highlighted the significance of basic knowledge of economics and the willingness to learn throughout life. After four successful years of cooperation AAG head teacher Wolfgang Deutschmann and Dr. Plath agree to carry on the good work in the next school year.
