Speakers from the academic world and the industry put current research findings up for discussion from 21st – 23rd November, 2017.
Results of a broiler trial carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Agricultural and Nutritional Science of the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg and Ajinomoto Eurolysine were presented in poster form. The trial examined the “valine requirements of Ross 308 broilers depending on the leucine content in reduced protein diets”. The results show that the ideal Val:Lys ratio for corn-based diets lies at 80% in the growing phase and at 84% in the final fattening Phase.
The positive effects of Loxidan PG2+ in broilers under heat stress were presented in a second poster.
