The natural alternatives

Vitamin E (Tocopherols)

A potent antioxidant that helps prevent the oxidation of fats, it is often derived from natural sources like vegetable oils.

Vitamin C

This is a further antioxidant commonly used in pet food. It helps protect against oxidative damage and can work synergistically with vitamin E.

Rosemary extract

A natural antioxidant derived from the rosemary herb known for their antioxidant properties.

Green tea extract

This additive is extracted from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. It contains polyphenols which are known for their antioxidant properties. Green tea extract is also permitted for use as a natural antioxidant in pet food.
